New Magnetic Fields Album Due May 4 In May, the Magnetic Fields will release their new album on Nonesuch Records. The album title is "i." It will have 14 new Stephin Merritt recordings, all starting with the letter i. The songs are sung by Stephin and accompanied by the four-piece band, John Woo (banjo and guitar), Sam Davol (cello) and Claudia Gonson (piano and percussion). The band plans to tour select dates around the US during May, June and July, and will post dates when available.

Mientras tanto recomiendo la banda de sonido de "Pieces of april", de cuyos temas s�lo la mitad es nuevo material (el resto son canciones de The 6ths y Magnetic Fields -todas buenas-) y que hace esperar con muchas ganas lo que viene. Parece que de los cinco tracks nuevos apenas uno entr� en la pel�cula. Se llama "One April Day", y posiblemente sea el mejor (esc�chenlo y lo comentamos).

PD: Ah, "Pieces of April", me dijo un amigo, sale este a�o en Argentina. Milaaaaaaaaagro...
